World leaders meet in Glasgow for the COP26 Global Climate Summit. On 6 November 2021, towns and cities across the world will take to the streets demanding climate justice for the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice. Hundreds of thousands of people across the world will take to the streets with over 50 demonstrations planned up and down the UK and over 75 actions and demonstrations taking place around the world. Join the COP26 Coalition for our digital global rally that will bring together voices of leading campaigners and activists across the world with speakers from the main stage in Glasgow.

Glasgow Rally
Activists in Glasgow will march from Kelvingrove Park to Glasgow Green, where they will rally and hear from speakers like Uganda’s Vanessa Nakate and Sweden’s Greta Thunberg. The rally will be hosted by Glasgow’s own Darren McGarvey and Mitzi Jonelle Tan from the Philippines.
The march At 11.30am on the 6th November, thousands of activists will gather in Kelvingrove Park, where representatives from Black Lives Matter Scotland, the Stop Cambo campaign, UNISON, and the Anti-Fracking Lancashire Nanas will speak from the Fire Brigade Union’s fire engine.
The march will set off from Kelvingrove Park at midday, organised in a series of campaign blocs centred on intersectional issues of climate justice, from Indigenous and Frontline Communities; Anti Racism and Migrant Justice; Farmers, Landworkers and Mariners; Youth; Health Justice; Glasgow Communities; Climate Justice, Not False Solutions; Workers and Trade Unions; Housing; Faith; Nature and Biodiversity; Extinction Rebellion; Independence and Active Travel.
From 3pm at Glasgow Green, the march will form a rally, hosted by Darren McGarvey and Mitzi Jonelle Tan. Speakers include the Minga Indigena, representatives of the Global Alliance of Territorial Communities, Roz Foyer from the Scottish Trade Union Congress, Rev. Dr. Neddy Astudillo, Saoudata Walet Aboubacrine, Colette Pichon Battle, Vanessa Nakate from Fridays For Future MAPA, Greta Thunberg, the Pacific Climate Warriors, Asad Rehman from War on Want and more to be announced. There will be performances from musicians Ana Tijoux, Dizraelia and This Is It.
