There is a rich legacy of working-class direct action for the climate, from Australian construction workers’ “Green Bans” movement, Lucas Aerospace workers’ plan to transition their factory, and Vestas wind turbine workers’ occupation against factory closure. How can reconnecting with this legacy inform both the fights for radical climate action and free trade unions today?
